Specialist Medical Professional (Internal Medicine / Ophthalmologist)

Job Description & Overview: We are looking for energetic and motivated Specialist Medical Professionals to work in hospitals/health centers under the Ministry of Health, Maldives.

Available Positions:

• Internal Medicine Specialist (5 Posts)

• Ophthalmologist (3 Posts)

Salary & Benefits Package:

• Basic Salary: MVR 30,990.00 per month

• Accommodation Allowance: MVR 7,000.00

• Food Allowance: MVR 2,400.00

• Service Allowance: MVR 425.00 per working day

• Medical Benefits: Health insurance scheme premium covered by MOH.

• Visa: Visa fees will be paid for the employee.

Minimum Eligibility Criteria:

• Master’s Degree in the field of specialty (minimum 3-year program).

• Minimum One (1) year clinical experience as a specialist after Master’s Degree.

• Completed MBBS recognized by Maldives Medical and Dental Council.

• Completion of 12 months’ internship after MBBS.

• Permanent Basic registration certificate from the candidate’s local Medical Council.

• Age: Preferably below 50 years.
